Foods That Help Get Rid of Cellulite – 10 ways to beat cellulite

Over 80% of women have cellulite and chances are, most have tried to get rid of the stubborn condition to little success. For many of us, cellulite is something we’ve been taught to dread and fear. Having cellulite doesn’t mean you are overweight. Even thin people can have it. If you are overweight, however, losing weight may reduce cellulite. Cellulite is not related to the condition known as cellulitis, which is a spreading bacterial infection or inflammation of the skin and tissues beneath the skin. An inactive lifestyle also may increase your chances of having cellulite, as may pregnancy. Although you can’t get rid of cellulite completely, here are some simple things you can do to reduce its appearance.

There are several therapies that have been suggested to remove cellulite, but none have been supported in the scientific or medical literature. Some “treatments” may temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite. They won’t last, though. Treatments to remove cellulite range from the very non-invasive mechanical massage, heat, and radiofrequency to fat-dissolving injections and actual surgery. If you have an unhealthy lifestyle and you build up more body fat, there’s a good possibility that this body fat can convert to that type of cellulite fat structure as well. How to get rid of cellulite on thighs fast: Quite the contrary! Liposuction is not very successful in treating cellulite and may actually worsen the dimpled skin appearance.

With the right exercise plan, you can reduce your cellulite and make your lower body look smoother and firmer. Buckwheat is a slow-burning, easily digestible whole grain that, in addition to being a complete protein, is also rich in B vitamins and fiber. Retinoic acid (retinol) used over a period of >6 months has been shown to improve cellulite, probably by increasing dermal collagen thickness and contour of elastic fibres. In my practice, Cellfina has become the gold standard for treatment of cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. Subcision, a surgical technique where a tiny blade or laser cannula cuts the fibrous septae, is the treatment of choice for those looking for an invasive treatment. However it can be expensive and causes short-term bruising.

The Cellfina procedure costs between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how many areas are treated and the location of the medical practice. Few people realize that unsightly patches of cellulite are not improved by either physical exercise or even the strictest weight-control diets. And one of the best ways to camouflage cellulite, according to make-up artists on the old television show “Baywatch,” a program built around bikini babes, is self tanner. Cellulite is less visible on darker skin, so substitute your normal body moisturizer for a self-tanning lotion or a glow-inducing BB body cream. If you absolutely won’t rest until you’ve done everything you can to get rid of your lumps, you might consider laser-assisted liposuction.

Your body’s systems are all connected, and the cellulite you see is a symptom of something going on in your body. It’s important to clear your body of toxins regularly, feed your body what it needs and be aware of ways to keep your hormones balanced. Increasing blood flow to these areas can help remove cellulite and kettlebells are one of the most effective ways to build muscle and burn fat (both which help minimize the appearance of cellulite). Home cellulite treatment: Protein stimulates and strengthens the production of collagen and elastin which keeps cellulite at bay. A regular exercise practice cannot cure cellulite—but in many cases it can help prevent or reduce its appearance. Pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain, an anti-inflammatory that also helps to reduce cellulite by boosting fat cell metabolism. Enjoy half a cup of cubed pineapple as part of your breakfast, for a refreshing mid-day snack, or for dessert.

Other possibilities are techniques that cut the fibrous walls enclosing the fat, allowing the fat to smooth out and appear less bumpy. NASA discovered Red Light Therapy and while the beds look exactly like tanning ones, these use only infrared lights to increase blood circulation, skin tightening and minimizing pores. Cellulite gets worse, as collagen and elastin levels decrease in the body. Making a regular use of sun protection will slow, that decrease and add moisture, too. In addition to that, some fruits and veggies that are high in water content such as watermelon, grapefruit, cucumbers, tomatoes, foods rich in vitamin c are also very beneficial to cellulite. Start lifting weight. And if you already lift weight? Keep doing so! Because cardio isn’t going to get rid of all your cellulite. (Nothing is going to get rid of all your cellulite.)
